In 1956, Mr. Samuel Rondeau, Martine’s father, bought an old wine estate of 18 hectares in the commune of Teuillac. At the beginning of the century, it was already renowned for its white and red wines; mentioned several times as a Cru Bourgeois in the Féret of the 19th and early 20th centuries. Cultivated on deep clayey-siliceous red gravel, located on a plateau, its slight southern slope allows for good drainage and plenty of sunshine. The grape varieties are Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec for the red grape varieties and Sauvignon Blanc for the white grape varieties.
